Ker plunk! Every year, 125,000 golf balls are hit into the water on the infamous 17th hole of the Stadium Course at Sawgrass, Ponte Verda Beach, Florida. Croatia's Froggyland Museum is filled with over 500 taxidermy anthropomorphically dressed and posed frogs! In 1911, Vincenzo Peruggia simply walked into the Louvre Museum and walked out with the Mona Lisa.

Secondhand golf balls are big business. Most water hazards are designed with concrete ditches so the balls roll to a central collecting point. They are then collected at night by a scuba diver or a vacuum/dredge.
