winter haikus in the empty space immortal beneath the soot parking lot snow pile. jello from a mold wet sand from an upturned pail laughable hat hair. muffled scream if i hear that phrase "mass of arctic air" once more i think i will scream. kid 1: whine whine whine whine whine adults are like, so wimpy kid 2: snow days suit me fine.

Chicagoland had no measurable snow during January and February this year.
No sooty snow piles in the parking lots!
