Our hummers (6 to 10 of them this year) crash into each other with such force that there’s an audible thump. It sounds awful! Never have seen one injured, though.
They do have their aerial fights! They are very territorial!
Always interesting to see their colors flair when fighting.
I don’t know when they have a chance to eat; all their time is spent chasing other hummers away.
Why do hummingbirds hum? Because they don’t know the words!!! LOL!! I know. I’ll go to my room.
