He has the right to protest what he feels is injust. Why do we make this a backturning on those who have fought for us and this country? Why do we feel the need to judge another countrymen’s thoughts and feelings?
He did NOT disrespect those who gave their all, or the flag, he was just pointing to the hypocrisy and real world that threatens what the flag is really threatened by.
Idiots flying tattered flags on their antennas, leaving the flag up in storms, or at night unlighted, or other violations of protocol like wearing the flag as a garment, are the ones who disrespect that flag.
The founding fathers wanted to form a “more perfect union”, they knew it wouldn’t BE perfect, as humans were in charge. Like the puritans (Weiner) and hypocrites (football fans and “patriots”, who generally, well, overwhelmingly actually, have never risked ANYTHING to better this country, or made any sacrifice, hmm, like Trump.
^BTW: my son and I are disabled combat veterans, but we also respect VISTA volunteers, Peace Corps folks, first responders, or even volunteers at hospitals and “senior” homes who give of their time and efforts for a better nation because they CONTRIBUTE! BTW; I also flew my flag upside down after Bushco invaded Iraq, illegally, and based on lies, that got my friends killed, and led to my son’s multiple disabilities that led to his retirement after 13 years of service, including five with some of the most intelligent and qualified folks in our military..
“No refuge could save the hireling and slaveFrom the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave,And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth waveO’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.”Salute sending slaves to the grave?
I only hope that the next time he decides to sit during the singing of the Anthem that not a single TV camera focuses on him. Do not give him any media coverage.
They died to protect your right to behave the way the central government requires you to behave. You have rights, but only if you don’t actually use them. America is great because its people do exactly what they’re told and don’t ever stand up for their beliefs.

raised by white parents, richer than 90% of the rest of the citizens, but can’t think of any other way to protest or help his fellows?
