I think Mal’s more capable than he gives himself credit for, and he’s got an opportunity to possibly turn his life around here if he’ll just recognize it. Fortunately, he’s got Wolfe, who doesn’t give up on Mal so easily.
I wonder, is Kate a smoker? The detective girl smokes a pipe, and Mal rolls his own cigarettes. Been there, done that, quit 38 years ago and avoided the COPD that is now killing my brother. Kate, are you listening?
