    Good morning Vagabonds.

Well, they were wrong about yesterday. It was a nice day with

no rain. Supposed to stat the same until the weekend when

    Matthew is supposed to arrive.

McPheeters: I hope you are all battened down for this storm.

It looks like it’s aiming right at you. I’ll pray that you don’t have

    any damage.

Mark: It looks like you are safe.

    Morning, Village!

We really didn’t do much to celebrate the birthday. Wife took me to my favorite Mexican restaurant. That’s about it.

Howdy Vagabonds.A dreary day this morning, but clearing later on today, much later today.According to Gary the hurricane track is still unsure for later in the week, but, there is a chance of significant rain for Saturday and Sunday. We need it, just as long as it doesn’t try to flood us out..The camPAIN is still giving me a PAIN, I think they said on the news 35 more day till election day, that’s exactly 36 days to long. :-(.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

I have heard that GoComics’ message about nothing but bold and italics is somewhat incomplete. They eliminated the paragraph spacing as well as any “extra” spaces, including double spacing between sentences. What a pain this will be to read now. As David said over at “Annie” he can’t post a hyperlink anymore, and the folks at “Ten Cats” are really angry because they love to post their cat pictures. We are also limited in the number of

characters in our posts (as you can see). It seems to me that the way to stop spam is NOT to tick off the paying customers.DAVID, it sounds like your birthday was similar to mine – quiet with a nice dinner out.It is cooling off around here. It’s under 60 with a forecast of only 79. Once it warms up, it would be a good day to keep the doors open again.

Hmmm. No paragraphs at all. In fact, it eliminated all spacing between the end of one paragraph and the beginning of another. The word “DAVID” had been the beginning of a new paragraph.

If you notice my comments here contain no bold or italics.

When I comment on Fox Trot I only use caps for the name and regular script for the rest and have no problem with them printing it.
