The funny thing is, the only real German dish is Sauerbraten, the other ones are from Austria (Wiener Schnitzel) or the US (Schnitz un Knepp, I as a German had never heard of that one before, I had to check Wikipedia and it only has an English Wikipedia entry). Sweet and sour cabbage is from all over Europe.

Technically Germans may have been called “Huns” in the World Wars, but Huns aren’t really Germans.

The original Huns were Asian, but during WWI the Germans did get to be called Huns for some reason.
