Warming up today, temps may hit 70. (believe when I see)
.
Today is another trip to Dartmouth Hospital down in Hanover, NH. About every six weeks my nephew goes for a treatment for his back, a condition called Spondelitus (totally misspelled), his vertebra will fuse eventually. Painful I’m afraid, he’s got more pills then I do.
.
Well, we will be getting on the road some time between 8 and 9.
I hit a road block in my genealogy research. I traced my maternal grandmother’s line back to her paternal grandfather, i.e. my great-great grandfather. I’ve affirmed family tradition that he was born in Switzerland. But I can find nothing beyond that. I found the year of his birth, but not the day. I don’t know what city he lived in, the date of his immigration, or the names of his parents. It has become frustrating.
Our internet is kinda working. After calling the provider, I think they tweeked something, but they still have to come out tomorrow to aim it at a different tower.
.
It got down to 23 during the night, but the daytime temp yesterday of 36 melted all our snow. It was nice while it lasted.
My Wife could use a similar device, but ( no pun intended ) it would have to worn on Her Butt so as to help Her get Her ASS out of bed ! She hates to get up before Noon or so.
I don’t know what the ByE strip is saying today, but I share the sentiment in the last panel. My friend Cecelia went home to be with the Lord yesterday. While we celebrate her entry into Heaven, we are sad for ourselves because she was such a bright light in our lives.
.
Back to work on the quilting today. I am making “railroad” borders out of 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 inch pieces. They end up to be 54 inches long. The fun part is arranging the pieces into an attractive order so they will look good on the quilt as a whole.
.
The weather around here is still Indian summerish. The highs are in the mid 80’s (a relief after 94 on Monday!) and the lows at night are mid 60’s. I am enjoying it immensely.
.
Church tonight will be a video featuring Ray Comfort talking on campus at 2 California universities. He poses logical questions to people who believe in evolution without really knowing why they believe it. I am looking forward to it as I really like Ray Comfort. He and Kirk Cameron are the ones who did the “Way of the Master” evangelism videos.

Good morning Vagabonds.
Going to be cool again tonight and early morning but will get up to the low to mid 60’s.
Going to be a busy day today.
First we go to the chiropractor at 10 a.m.
Then my wife goes to P/T at 1 p.m.
Then I go to the Podiatrist at 3:30 p.m.
Thank God we have some time between them.

With my luck, I’d be heavier than the magnet, so it would jump into bed with me instead.

Rude awakening I would say.
