My wife’s grandfather raised goats, in southern California. At one time had 100 milk goats. My father grew up drinking goat’s milk and loved it when I started dating her and he had a source for fresh milk. Along with keeping goats for their milk, grampa also butchered goats, and the meat is great. He’s long gone (lived to 101, and attributed it to drinking goat’s milk). These days I primarily am able to eat goat at the Iowa State Fair (food stand outside the Goat Building) or at Indian restaurants.
Yesterday afternoon I had a sandwich for lunch on which I used vidalia onion salad dressing instead of mustard. Eight hours later, every belch tasted like that dressing. Couldn’t get rid of it.
