Hey Ted is stealing from the first Star-Trek, Commodore Perry.
Actually I think it was Christopher Pike ( Episode the Menagerie) which I thought was one of the nice touches of the latest Star Trek that Kirk became captain after Pike was paralyzed. (Yes, I am a geek)
Pike still had a functioning brain, and Perry only opened trade with Japan. A key point in “Star Trek” was that society had no need for money or “wealth accumulation”. Japan took Perry’s advice, kicked off their empire building, and that didn’t turn out too well. When they started selling US products, and even manufacturing them in the U.S. while “American” companies sent their jobs outside the U.S., was it “Perry’s Revenge” or revenge on Perry???
Hey eeslin, after I flagged your spam I checked your web site. You say, “If you are not satisfied, we can improve.”
I’m not satisfied, so improve already!
“Obamatron” is too much the narcissist to feel anything other than where his next good time is coming from. He’s got his hands so far down my pants pockets that he’s tickling my heels (and I’m unemployed).

Also, although he’s not encased in a glass jar, he resembles the heads in Futurama.

That’s what happens when you “win” a Nobel Peace Prize - they put you on a pedestal!

landshark gets the coveted NoPrize. If I remember my history correctly, Commodore Perry opened the Far East to Western ‘civilization’.
