Buenos Dias y todos. It is going to be a lovely day here today, but I think we ought to send a little lightning to JFri for the spelling lesson and miserly breakfast as that is not the proper way to begin a day. I need sustenance and the absence of instruction. That is why I have my office on a whole different floor than LilG, as she can begin instructing first thing after hopping out of bed. Today she began while we were still in bed. Watch where your minds go people. She was actually instructing me on our search for lighting for shaving and for her putting on makeup.

Hola Todos! I saw a good movie earlier. It was “The Youngest Profession.” It was about a girls’ club that collected autographs of famous people. There were cameos by Lana Turner, Greer Garson, Walter Pidgeon, Robert Taylor and my fav, William Powell. Agnes Moorhead was in the movie too. The movie was from 1943.

Carmy, I prefer the oldest profession.

I think I knew that already, Cleo.

I loved William Powell too! Him and Myrna Loy, nothing today can top those Thin Man Movies!

The lawn is mowed and I am now counting down til the final mow.

Hola Locos! I’ll take some of that monetary reward too! I don’t like mowing either, but I’ll do it for some $$. I prefer weed whacking.

Carmy, I am the opposite, I prefer mowing to weed whacking.

Cleo, I recently acquired a weed whacker/edger that runs on a battery. It actually came with 2 batteries. No Cords!!!

I have a Craftsman Weed Whacker, that converts to an edger and blower. I like edging and that is it. Mine is gas and is a good unit, but whacking is not a pleasurable activity for me.

I think mine is a Craftsman also. The only problem I have with edging is when something, either a rock or a weed root, hits me on my leg. Ouch!
