I’ve found having long hair and a convertible is not a good combination. Hair in my face, and gets tangled. Difficult to have a hat or scarf that will stay on in the wind, and will keep all of my hair from getting tangled. My husband has it easy with his lack of hair. (Although, if the trip is more than an hour, he’ll get sunburned.)
When I saw my first convertible, as a child, my first thought was, “what happens if that guy has an accident and rolls the car over?” We lived in Ohio and they left accidents out, encouraging parents to take children by to “teach them a lesson!” I now have “freeway PTSD”, and I still wonder about the safety of convertibles. Not a nice way to teach the kids a lesson, in my opinion.

But you can buy a baseball cap with hair (your choice of color) realistically attached! Go for it!

Yep. I have always said the plan is backwards. We should be retired through our forties and then work ouselves to death.
