Actually NightGaunt, the Clinton “slow-down” at the start of Bush’s administration began in November 2000, due entirely to regulators. Only began to recover with election of a republican senate in 2002, and ran great until about 12 months after the democrats took both senate and house. Not that economic facts have any meaning to leftists.
The rotten economy of the past eight years is entirely attributable to regulatory actions. The regulators have successfully regulated the economy, to the great loss of the rest of America.
In a free country, Clinton would be elected in a plurality, if not runoff majority. In a country founded by plantation, factory, and ship owners, the rights of The People sometime get lost because they didn’t have much respect for yeoman farmers and craftsmen.
We don’t know. There were that many Democrats in Texas in just that hypothetical position of apathy. All I am saying, let’s have free elections. Considering most of what Trump said about Clinton was a self-description and rejection, not only was the vote really rigged, there is strong evidence he did the rigging. At least the US did better than the Roman Empire. They barely cleared a century before auctioning off the whole Empire to the highest bidder. We easily cleared two.
