My Dad was the same. When he retired at the age of 65 he said even if it was only for that Christmas he would go the whole way with lights on in and all around the house to celebrate his first Christmas. He had the place looking amazing and was looking forward to the big day like a big kid. Then suddenly he died on December 18th of a massive brain hemorrhage. He’s still with us though in spirit. R.I.P Dad love you xx
