Mom: That one's much too tall. Petey: My feet are cold. Alice: I like that one! Mom: That one's okay from the front, I guess. Petey: It's fine. Can we go now? Alice: I like the tall one. Dad: We'll take this tree!

My wife is so indecisive, it drives me nuts. Pumpkins at Halloween, picking and choosing this or that little item to give to a coworker at Xmas, trying to decide what SHE wants for Xmas or birthday (two weeks later)…

Is it not obvious to whom each line of dialogue belongs (top-left, Madeline; bottom-left, Petey; top-right, Alice)? Such well-defined characters Richard created!
But in this one strip, Peter has the definitive last word!
I guess that tree will be okay….
