The surgery took less than 15 minutes. I had less pain than I expected to have. I was glad to go back on the pain meds that I had to stop taking for a week. I slept in my bed for the first time in three weeks (9 1/2 hours). I still can’t type worth rap anymore. My wrist and hand is bandaged for the next week (picture posted to Ten Cats Fan Club page on Facebook yesterday). I’m now going to post a few pictures there for you to enjoy.
It’s not easy for an American to find a fresh turkey in a British supermarket the day before Thanksgiving. Had to settle for a small turkey breast. I don’t often cook for Thanksgiving when I’m over here. We usually go out to our favorite restaurant, but it’s closed because the owner had a hip replacement recently and is on the mend. Went to the supermarket tonight and there was hardly anyone there, no doubt because the main road to it was still closed after a serious water main break earlier in the day.
@Bbear…..surgery hasn’t slowed you down one bit. We often take little things for granted…like having a wonderful sleep in one’s own bed. Glad you, once again, are enjoying this pleasure. NOW REST!!!! LOL

Jealous boys, you get spoiled all the time anyway.

I think we can be pretty sure there won’t be any male ants. They only have one job, and once that’s been done, they die.

Posted this late yesterday. Can’t really fill in for the bear.

These two kitties in their boxes illustrate why cats are fascinated by boxes.

Be considerate of your kitty’s need for adequate amounts of sleep – 14 hours in this case.

Hey Graham Crackers, I have to turn in now. Need to get up early to drive the family to my Brother in law’s place for the Thanksgiving celebration. I am bringing my world-famous cranberry sauce, as well as (at my BIL’s request) my special Dungeness Crab crabcakes. Had to dig deep for that one, whew. The immediate fam will have a smaller gathering on Sunday, my wife’s birthday.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
