Aunt Fritzi: Not to run with them.
Don’t get this one. Running didn’t cause the problem. Now if she slipped and fell as she reached home, or the bag was dripping with oozing liquid, the joke would have worked.

It seems that frequently, the jokes in “Nancy” depend on the characters being ignorant of technology or information freely available at the time.
