Leaving with a legacy of a failed health care overhaul, illegal destruction of Constitutional rights, low unemployment but with record number of people not participating in the labor force, a suicidal pact with an evil empire (Iran), the worst failure of any US P:resident EVER.He had the opportunity to be one of our greatest, even to surpass Ronald Reagan. The country was divided along racial, economic, political lines, and almost every other category imagined. As the first black President he had an unprecedented opportunity to unite the country as never before. However, he chose to squander it on a health care overhaul that a majority didn’t want (and that’s been proven to have failed), an ideology of racial and religious divisiveness divisiveness.THAT is the REAL tragedy of the Obama Presidency.

The republicans went for the orange slime who mocks disabled people and is working on his third trophy wife and claiming that he as imperial president, can have no conflict of interests.

One chapter ends, another begins … From the Campbell-Moyers series “The Power of Myth” Episode 2 —

    .

" … And while he’s talking, there comes in parade across the floor of the palace an army of ants in perfect range. And the boy laughs when he sees them. And Indra’s hair goes up, and he thinks, he says to the boy, “Why do you laugh?” And the boy says, “Don’t ask unless you are willing to be hurt.” And Indra says, “I ask. Teach.” The boy says, “Former Indras, all. Through many lifetimes they rise from the lowest conditions spiritually to highest illumination, and then they drop their thunderbolt in Vritra, and they think, ‘What a good boy am I,’ and down they go again.”

    .

    Have a good Thanksgiving.

We adults prefer the labels majority / minority party. Obstructionism, the mantra of “I’m taking my ball and going home” is out of place even in kindergarten.

Compromise means no one is completely happy, but things get done.

Obstructionism was wrong when the Republicans did it to President Obama, it is still wrong. Some one has to be the grown up.

Obama is very popular. It would be Hillary’s test solo that crashed and burned. It doesn’t matter. I’m confident Trump will be impeached in the first year. You can’t make a silk purse from a sow’s ear.

It’s like he pasted Obama’s face over the face of the guy who liked to wear flights suits, and who walked away whistling from the disaster he’d created.

Opposition doesn’t mean obstruction. That is just the threat when one party goes off the deep end into our way or no way.

GHW Bush was the guy who bailed out of his plane in WW II and left his crew behind to die. “W” got the training as a pilot, then deserted to avoid going to ’Nam.

Bin Laden is dead because Obama did the job right that both of them failed at because they were “Wrong way Corrigan” all over again in going the wrong way at every option.

I’m predicting a landslide next election. Most people didn’t bother voting because they didn’t like Trump, but weren’t fond of Hillary either.

After all the damage, cheating, and broken promises that will follow Trump, he’ll be lucky to get the nomination to run again, assuming he isn’t impeached and removed from office.
