not even if you shred them and turn them into the 6" or so of waxy plastic-y yarn they might produce when twisted
ÂPlus, she has no means of buying yarn,,,,,
Ergo, I’m wondering whether a bit of that patina might be not so false….
but arise from the actual age of the yarn.

That is to say… I hope Agnes isn’t planning to unravel Grandma’s
precious old favorite afghan,
to get the yarn for this attempt.

BTW… I remember a couple of weeks ago (?)
she was making Grandma a list of impossible-to-fulfill promises for her present.
