I like how Bea lettered Charlene’s ‘Hi!’ in Panel #3

She’s also getting really good with her use of partial panel borders and open space.

There’s a trick some letterers use in comics … not sure how well it works in comic strips … where, if a word balloon abuts a panel border, that panel border is eliminated, leaving the balloon partially open.

Allows for cramming more verbiage into less space without it feeling as crowded.

Well, last time she let a man too close she needed a shotgun wedding after.

But seriously, if you’re reading these comments Bea, tell me are you planning to give Sam and Sedine some kids?

Roy married a Shy-Ninja…

“Nice to meet… what I can see…”

How did Roy, of all people, get past that?

“Two silhouettes on the shade…”

I doubt we’ll be seeing much of her in future stories, since she’ll be hiding behind Roy most of the time.

Behind every strange man is a weird woman.

She has a pretty eye.

BTW… Bea, if you ever plan to introduce a sane character, please warn us first? ;)

Only just now noticed, but the “Polka Dots” on Sam’s shirt were produced entirely with tones.

Effect Achieved.

She’s the reigning Hide-and-Seek champion of her Primary school.

I don’t get it, why is Sam sweating? Is he afraid to meet her?
