as if other dogs can read

They can read the old way. Laughed myself silly one morning watching one of my neighbors tugging at his dog’s leash when the dog spent too much time sniffing a particular lamppost. I figured “either there’s a lot of news to catch up on today, or this dog’s a slow reader”.

It’s better than what my dog does. He goes to the courthouse and files liens against the properties.

I voted for Max.

At least it’s outdoors.

Does the first frame have anything to do with the 2nd?
