Is this a “Ripley’s – Believe it or not”?Actually it was on the news – there’s a city (in UK? – Scotland?) where they do Xmas tree javelin, high throw and “hammer throw” (with tree instead) "triathlon.
My neighbor, was too something (lazy, sorry, smart…) to take his tree out of its stand. He did manage to get it outside. However, there was green needles on that tree into the summer. I know because I cut their grass for them. All that to say that the tree javelins would have to be aged a considerable time to get the distance depicted here.I bet the people that use cedar trees regret it.
back when we had a real tree they were 17ft tall. It took 4 of us to stand them up. Maybe after a few beers we could be convinced to try and throw one…or build a sling shot!
