I THINK, MAYBE, Brother Leo found the feather after seeing a large angel, and is trying to return it? So, he’s asking the vendor, since the vendor has small angels, if he’s seen one or knows of one the size he shows with his hand? I’m not sure, either. I’m sorry, Mr Marrin. I just read your “meet your creator” blog, and I think your wife was either not available for this one, or she just plain understood where much of your audience does not. If you read these comments, would you explain this one, please?
Sorry if this cartoon was confusing. Leo has met a real angel and has evidence of just how big they are— a huge gold feather. His gesture of reaching high is to tell the souvenir seller just how big a real angel is. The child behind him sees the feather and understands, but the seller just rolls his eyes.
Sometimes the magic works, sometimes it doesn’t. Hope this helps. I welcome the feedback. My wife did sort of wonder if this would work, so she is still infallible. I just don’t always listen.

Wings for angels isn’t exactly agreed upon. Remember “Jacob’s Ladder”?

Mathematically, you can fit more angels on the head of a pin, than all the ordained and Vatican-accepted female priests.
