Roland: Day six. The ordeal continues. After lengthy talks with Prime Minister Desai, President Carter was sped to the airport for the trip to Riyadh. Upon his arrival, nearly five hours later, the President underwent another exhaustive round of bilateral meetings. Later on, he met with King Khalid. During a subsequent press conference, the Saudi monarch asked Mr. Carter if there was anything he particularly wished to see during his brief stay. In the apparent belief he was still in India, the President asked to see Lhasa, which is in Tibet.
