I think Pastis actually drew that last panel, the line work is too close to his style.

Notice that the “A” on Peter’s cap is changed to “PBS” for Pearls Before Swine.

And it isn’t Public Broad Casting.

Blew my mind when Bill Watterson drew for Pastis for a few days.

The hybrid strips are always fun. As others have said, quite a similarity between the characters, too.
