While Dr. Dark with his crustacean rider moved through the waters to leave the area of the Bering Sea a high flying observation drone has been tracking him. Dr. Dark does detect it with his Omnivision scope and targets it for termination. Once the targeting is made, he presses a button and the small missile is hydraulically launched to the surface then its own engine fires and it just makes it to the 30,000 ft level of the surveillance drone and explodes sheering off a wing and the multi-million dollar craft tumbles down spinning like a fallen leaf trailing smoke and debris to splash above him. Dr. Dark chuckled at that. “Still got it.” He smiled.
On a Navy ship a few miles distant the drone operator reports the termination of the drone transmissions including telemetry.
“Sir he must have noticed the drone somehow. I don’t know what he used to find it and blast it out of a 30,000 ft elevation, sir.” Came the information.
“Affirmative, set up for another launch.” Capt. Pequod ordered.
“Yes sir!” You could just hear the salute it in. Ah the green horns, so spit and polish! The captain thought.
