The Dick Tracy crossover story is winding down. Where would y’all like to go next? There was another Annie crossover story in Dick Tracy in 2015. However, that one turned out to be a “Honeymoon” story, with Annie just playing a supporting role. Or would y’all just prefer not to have any links for a while?
NunYa suggested yesterday that I post the Andrew Pepoy strips from the year 2000. I’ve collected about 100 strips from that era, but that’s only about one third of the total. It’s enough to follow the story, but that’s about all. And what I have is very low res and sometimes hard to read.
Here’s another suggestion. How about the beginning of the “Annie” series, drawn by Leonard Starr? It started in December of 1979 and continued until 2000. I have nearly the whole batch, but again, some of it is very low res and hard to read.
Here’s an example. This is the very first “Annie” strip, when it changed from being “Little Orphan Annie.” The new writer/artist was Leonard Starr and the date was December 3, 1979.

Okay, we know how the story line ends – but why is Warbucks dressed like Mr. Roarke from Fantasy Island?

Now if Amelia dies she can still be seen an heard by any necroscope out there including Annie Warbucks.
