COSTUMED CRIMEFIGHTERS ACADEMY â Online (for the duration of the emergency)Review Lesson #4: Symbolism. Good Morning! The modern trend among superheroes is to eschew fancy logos and simply let their powers/abilities speak for them. This also reflects a kind of increasing âanti-heroâ mind-set shunning publicity (and public scorn for simply existing). Our applicant looks like he opts for the more âclassicâ approach, but does not appear to have done his due diligence carefully enough. Skulls as logos are hardly new; refer to C. Walker and family, Class of â36, ongoing, or F. Castle, Class of â74. (In the case of Mr. Castle, itâs especially important to try to stay on his good side.) They are also quite popular among villains. Our case study also still speaks as if heâs narrating his own life; hence, the grandiose phrases like the master of destiny herself. We also need to take a closer look at just what the âmaster of destinyâ has planned for the girl who â unknown to our aspiring hero â is not only a graduate of the Academy, but also one of our Dean Emeriti (Class of â24).
