COSTUMED CRIMEFIGHTERS ACADEMY – Online (for the duration of the emergency) Review Lesson #46: Piercing the Cover. Federal authorities appear to have correctly surmised our applicant’s true identity, perhaps without having to go through the usual first step of dealing with his professional identity – i.e., The Phantom Commando. This is likely because our aspiring protagonist has not established his public persona while out of character as completely different from when in character… probably going on about spies and terrorists and the sparsity of patrols at the U.S.-Canada border while taking care of the marigolds at the hotel. (Wearing a t-shirt in town with his professional logo on it doesn’t seem to have helped, either.) Had he “played his cards right” he might have gotten some shielding from the Feds by the local police in a working relationship wth the chief (see Review Lesson #45). Despite his errors, he apparently is in a position to fight another day once the heat dies down. And so we leave The Phantom Commando to his apparent lack of concern for his lost sidekick and reviewing his chosen textbooks for his training – not to mention his rather… peculiar… choices for emergency food. Speaking of his lost sidekick, our Class of ’24 graduate is still riding the rails southbound. We will continue to track her to see what lessons we can glean from her long and illustrious career.

This has been an amusing send-up of the Phantom. So long and fare-thee-well to Ghost Who Rides Motorcycle with Detachable Sidecar.
