Also the right time to remember D-Day (June 6, 1944) in World War II. That day 4,414 Allied soldiers died out of 10,000+ casualties. That day was the beginning of the end for Hitler.
I hope we as a nation never forget D-Day, the attack on Pearl Harbor or the destruction of the World Trade Centers and so many other similar horrors. It’s my opinion we owe it to those who were killed to keep the memory of their sacrifices alive as a reminder of what hate, greed and ambition can be accomplished when wrought by evil.
