Person: Your guest just arrived, Mark. Mark: He'll want make-up. Person: Get this. He wants make-up. Mark: Clear your schedules, campers. Dr. Dan Asher, the baby boomers' Boswell, is back in town to hawk his latest masterwork, "Super-Kid." So, Dr. D! What's everybody's favorite generation up to these days? Dan: They're raising toddlers, Mark. And they're pulling out all the stops! Whether it's playing Mozart in the nursery or teaching the kids French by age two, today's parent is into giving his child every advantage. Basically, "Superkid" is about the new designer child. Denied junk food, force-fed PBS, this new breed of kid is a miniature adult. Mark: and this is good for him? Dan: Hey, it's an adult world. A kid needs an edge. His parents should do everything possible to help him avoid well, Mark: Childhood? Dan: Exactly! I know my kids are bored to tears with it!
