If there are anyone who reads this and wonders why Reds jeans are always folded up at the cuff, here is the explanation.Back in the 50’s and very early 60’s their parents bought them jeans with room to grow, so they were folded up and by the time the kids jeans fit they were worn out. this always happened. I used to do it occaisionly when my kids were little and growing out of clothes what seemed like every 3 months.Before they were old enough to go to school people had stopped buying clothes with room to grow.It had become the affluent world of buy it to fit. Even though affluence has gone by the wayside, this practice has been forgotten.
