That’s highly doubtful as when the native scout came in to report the sighting of the herd to the chief, he said that there were “Many large tuskers – heavy with ivory”. That sounds more like they just wanted the ivory.

Is "Tantor " the name for elephants or is it the name for a particular elephant ?
