I’m not a parent nor grandparent, but I do wear some articles of clothing of colleges where my parents (BYU shirt and cap) and older brother (Iowa cap; one time a BYU-Idaho shirt) attended.
A plugger goes to a college as an adult student and the only thing he or she buys with the school’s logo on it is a cap because they know they will be using that one.

I am a parent and grandparent but do NOT wear any sweatshirts from any college. Would not either.
