Because most newspapers (for those who don’t recognize the term, look it up) squeeze their Sunday strips to fit in between their ads, comic strips almost always have “waste” panels for their top tiers. Either reading them or not doesn’t really add to the experience. In this case, the strip could easily be the bottom three panels, and you wouldn’t lose anything. (Of course, it might be interesting if the current “Andy” team tried to be funny once in a while……..)

Why would it be rude to ask what I’m doing? I’m about to start my Toon Tour on GoComics and then have Cheese & Tomato pizza afterwards!
I don’t really fuss about how many panels there are, I’m just interested in whether the strip is funny or not. Today’s wasn’t.
I had a lovely weekend. And what’s good is that there is another one to come!
