Stalin certainly played it that way and was so paranoid he kept taking people and murdering them on his staff. Regardless of whether they did anything or not.

I still think Rita would make an excellent Imperial, almost (but not quite) in Darth Vader’s league.

Is Rita by any chance the Joker’s sister?

A long time ago, before the started her own business, and before we had cellphones, the Mrs and I were driving down a road one night and we saw her boss pulled over to the side in distress. Her boss made Rita look good. As I pulled over the Mrs told me to not get out and get back on the road. We did go to a gas station and alerted them of a driver in distress back up the road. They had a tow truck and said they would go. The Mrs never spoke about it to her boss and her boss never brought it up.

    No.

I have had plenty of Bosszillas in my life.

The one that got the most good done is my present boss.

She cares about the clients, and the people that take care of the clients.Best boss ever.

Inspiring respect out of fear has a drawback. Those people that you think ‘respect’ you might be plotting your demise the first chance they get.

Fear does not generate respect. It generates compliance. Workers will work to the letter of your law but not beyond. In my experience, it is because Bosszillas will kill creativity either by refusing to look beyond “policy” or by stealing it and taking credit for the idea.
