By remarkable coincidence, I discovered “Did the Victorians Ruin the World?” while browsing through BBC Radio 4 last night. It’s a tongue-in-cheek program and the episodes are only 10 minutes or so long, so it’s easy to binge-listen.
Topics so far are Darwinism, Cars, Beards – and Squirrels.
If Albert had not died in his early 40s Vicki would have been a lot more fun. After he died she turned all dour in public and the society followed. It was said that she had a great sense of humour.
