It’s nice to see some strips from another era. I was learning to read in the very early fifties, and so many of the comic strips I loved are gone! There was Dondi, LilAbner,Our Boarding House,The Little King (no reading here), Terry and the Pirates, and Brenda Starr, just to name a few! No complaints! Ilove todays comic strips, too.
Nostalgia is sometimes all it’s cracked up to be. Thanks, Mr. Scott! The Sunday Funnies used to be my dessert after reading the rest of the paper. My parents have a picture of me, at about 8 months of age – sans diaper – looking and laughing at the funnies spread out over their bed. They said Alley Oop was my favorite comic to look at and song to hear.

WOW, that is some impressive creation Mr. Scott! Did you draw all the other comics there too?

I wish they would put all those old comics on this site. They could call it antique comics.
