Dusty: Aw. Criminy. Pete: What? Dusty: I just got this card in the mail. I'm on jury duty. Pete: What's jury duty? Dusty: Oh, I go in and listen to a trial and help throw some scumbag in jail. Unless they're a celebrity. That's, like, a loophole or something. Pete: Justice is weird.

My number has never come up the few times I’ve got the notice
Doubt I would make it through jury selection for any kind of important trial
I tend to speak my mind

The last time my # came up it was for a court in a neighboring city and since I’m on a limited income and depend on public transportation I had no way to make it to the court for Jury duty so I requested a waver, but did state that I’d be happy to serve if they could switch me to a court in my own town. The waver was granted and they never asked me to serve in a court that I can get to.
