I suspect this is Trudeau’s way of giving us a “clip show”. I guess it’s better than taking another week off.

Except for the circumstances Lacy and Alice were two of a kind, ladies of the highest order.

I could be wrong, but I don’t believe that the “flashback” is reprinted from a previous strip.

By definition, a lady is ALWAYS of the highest order. Otherwise she’s a wench. (Too many years in the SCA)

Ah yes the SCA. Living from one battle to the next.

Personally, I have always preferred the feasts and A&S events to the battles. I seem to be afflicted with rhinoceros skin when my adrenaline kicks in, and it irritates some opponents when I don’t notice what they assumed was a death blow.

Wow, not exactly someplace I expected to see SCA refs.

What is a “Taxi dancer”?

To Number 1 redskins fan:

A taxi dancer is someone (usually a young woman) hired by a patron to dance with them on a dance-by-dance basis (according to the font of all truth, Wikipedia….).

Think Tina Turner’s song “Private Dancer.”

Well, a lot depends on the size of the taxi…. LOL!
