BD knows women?

Toogle, this romance may be doomed…

Alex will know the truth

Yeah, sure … he knows women … yeah, of course …

… poor toggle …

Gosh, what could possibly go wrong?

CaptXpendable, the one thing that could go awry is that Toggle could wind up back in mum’s trailer again.

Any man who says he understands women … doesn’t.

I’ve been dealing with women for 1/2 century, and as Triumph (the musical group, for those who don’t know) says in “Ordinary Man” “The more I get to see, the less I understand” <:-)

Any man who says he DOESN’T understand women is telling the absolute truth.

Stay out of it BD…. let it play out as intended

Toggle’s love life ends even before it started.

I second doctortoon’s idea–let Toggle try (admittedly 95% chance of failure, and 5% of success–but the chances of success in not trying are ZIP, so…)!

As for BD’s comment on understanding women, the reality is that he understands them as well as I–the extent of which can be gleaned from the following anecdote.

An ex-Outlaw biker once prayed, and the Lord spoke to him that he would grant hin any one wish. The biker (who lived on mainland US) asked for a bridge connecting mainland to Hawaii, so that he could go there as he wished without paying for expensive tickets–to which the Lord replied “you’re asking for something which is selfish and uses much resources; pick another”.

The biker replied, “please explain women to me”, whereupon the Lord sighed and asked “do you want two-lane or four-lane?”.

That’s weird - when I read BD’s line at the end, lightning struck and horses whinied outside the castle…and I’m in an office building!

Let’s hope durtclaw has it right, I met my “Alex” 40 years ago, she took what she got and is still here.

Heck, I’m still hoping to meet a Toggle I don’t want to kick to the curb after being with him for 24 hours.

Sure, BD will screw it up, but I’m definitely in favor of him (Toggle) trying rather than not.
