Before cushioned surfaces. Concrete gave a great incentive to stay up.

This equipment was one of my favorites. I remember when I learned I could skip a bar. you have to grow big enough to have long enough arms. Braciating is something that comes naturally to kids. I would pretend to be a monkey at 1st.

This is one of the reasons I love this comic, it rings so true of my childhood.I loved being a kid for the most part! Running, bike riding, playground stuff, playing with my collie, rollerskating the endless supply of stories from my head, and from TV to act out. having bestests friends, having bullies was not so fun. And Mickey Mouse Club, lassie, rin tin tin, going to drive in movies, going out to eat with parents at little diners, all the playing… even enjoyed piano lessons, except for having my friend who was a year younger play better than I did, and it was My aunt who was the piano teacher. Seems like she should have taught me to play better than Janey!

Red getting his first concussion, I hope it doesn’t screw with his communication with Rover!
