Doonesbury by Garry Trudeau for September 11, 2008
Transcript:
Mark: Senator, considering how many homes you have, is losing one of them that big a deal? John McCain: My friend, with all due respect, do you have any idea what you're talking about? Do you know what it's like to have marshals burst into your home and repossess it right in front of you? Do you? Mark: Um... no, sir. What was it like? McCain: Like being assaulted by Vietnamese prison guards.

That was too funny. Next week are going to have the other Senator explain how bad it was to have a white Mama?

Who was it that first proposed that nobody willing to run for elected office should be allowed to hold office? Maybe we need to reinstate Selective Service, and include the legislative, executive and judicial branches. Can you imagine a Supreme Court of draftees with a maximum 6 year term limit? Little slice of heaven.

Actually, that is a terrible idea. Maybe if the average American were better educated and more rational and Jess tribalist.
