Voice from television: ... and from Nairobi, we have Roland Hedley on the line! Roland, are you there? Roland: Yes, I am, Chris. Here in Kenya, sources are predicting a massive, continent-wide celebration should Obama win on Tuesday... but even if there is wild dancing in the streets, keep on thing in mind... it could turn ugly! Voice: No surprise there - stay safe, buddy!

Always a spin. What? Netflix will run out?

I have a friend from South Africa (I know, I know, different country) and she said that there’s not a heck of a big gap between “celebrating” and “rioting” in Africa. In SA, it’s regularly the same thing.

ejcapulet - I understand it works the same way in Pittsburgh and Miami.

Pray for us lord, for we know not what we do.
No matter who is elected, don’t expect them to lead us to light…On the contrary, the doom and gloom is here to stay. At least for the next few years.

Attyush-
I just read an AP poll that said Obama supporters are feeling gleeful, while McCain supporters report feeling glum.
I guess that describes your post, no?

OMG, nothing from UncaAlby yet? Must be speechless, LOL. Yes, Susan, I know you’re so terribly fascinated with me, in a sadomasochistic kind of way.

So..on Wednesday, when Obama is President of the US, what will you be saying? Bye bye, cash Bye bye, liberty Hello, slavery I think I’m gonna cry-ie Bye bye freedom bye by-ie
FRIDABONITA about 16 years ago
Unc,
If McCain wins
you can kiss your cash good bye as well as freedom of choice, civil liberties, social services (which I doubt you would notice cus you PAY FOR EVERYTHING. From private roads to your gated community, out of pocket health care and who needs a library when you have amazon?)
If we could all be as solvent as you then the issues would be??
Is this a just war
do we need social security
who deserves health care
is global warming REALLY an issue
Unc,
your money based fears are oh so getting old.
