As a “latch-key kid” of the mid 20th century I can assure you that education increased rapidly with the advent of TV. I can also guarantee school programs have gone down hill. The kids that “get it” are bored, those that don’t are teachers pets. I was not a teachers pet. Computers are even better. Just look up your teachers on Google and Facebook. Again, not teachers pet.
