Hurricanes, floods, hunger, malnutrition, deforestation, pollution, inequality, poverty. What paradox… we live in the era of global warming, but with colder world leaders every time. (É não isso a verdade. Ain’t that the truth.)

Comics Kingdom – I couldn’t get “Buy Prints” to work either. And the comments section has never worked for me. It always says, “unable to load Disqus.”

Gaturro – Thanks again, Templo. I was able to pretty well follow this one.

Crankshaft – The word “kick-off” means like “kick the bucket” in this context.

Judge Parker – Is that April in the last panel?

GATURRO: G. has some pithy political commentary today.

CK: I had the same problems today with Buy Prints and the comments section (Disqus), although I am usually able to get both (Buy Prints & comments).

MARY WORTH: Derek’s use of the expression, “Ships passing in the night,” is interesting and sort of punny (being this story is taking place on a ship). While the expression comes from a Longfellow poem, I am wondering about the definition at the Urban Dictionary: “A brief encounter with someone that has lasting memories you take to the grave..” (this is a paraphrase, as the actual quote is too hot to post here).

JUDGE PARKER: Is April a brunette…or a blonde?

I can’t get into CK at all this morning, so I guess I’ll have to reserve comment.

Gaturro Considering that the average global temperature has been going down for the past few years, this comic is purely political.
