Article in this morning’s LATimes about computer simulations of future California weather predicting increased rainfall in the SW US. However, the writer notes that, in view of rising world temperatures, this prospect may well evaporate!
Yo Lalo, nice one! Things might get a little watery also in Boston, Annapolis, and Nagoya, Japan among many others. The faster growing cities are also literally sinking (subsidence) as groundwater is pumped out from underneath — along with rising sea levels. Preparation for rising sea levels is really expensive, so the politicians, in fear of being called big government spendies, hesitate to make plans that could cost a mint & cost them their re election. So they look the other way. Ay yi yi !

Even the native Americans knew when to pull out during hurricane season. By 2050 there will be many abandoned areas that are now flooded out.
