I’m guessing that must be Monty’s own underpants and that the robot does housekeeping. I need a robot like that.

In E.B.s defense, hampers are, or at least used to be, often wicker-made, and that “end table” is none too distinctive. My guess is that the tightie-whities are Monty’s and that E.B. has been house-cleaning, as Clotty Peristalt suggested….
