Cats know! The exact thing happened with mine! But, I switched to those hyper-expensive flea collars that are around $70 each & come in tin cans. They actually work! Flea free for 8 months! Much easier to put on without that smell that makes them bolt when you snip open the Frontline type of stuff. Never had luck with that, powder makes my hands itch, & regular flea collars do not work. These new ones, though very expensive for an initial outlay, pay for themselves. They work!

Our indoor cats don’t have flees. Haven’t had flees in our house for 27 years.
