My reports were always good. I got a few rubbish grades but I don’t care. We learn a lot more after we leave school anyway.
I’m with Andy on this one. But I’m sure Flo already feels terrible.
Is it me or do you always seem to have hectic days? But I’d rather have a hectic day or two than a boring one.
Our boiler was dodgy today and my Mum had to wash in cold water, I wouldn’t mind bathing in cold water in hot weather but my Dad is a different story. Anyway the boiler is fixed now.
It’s not so boiling today. It’s quite windy. But on Thrusday morning it was horribly muggy and it made me feel so tired. I’ve had a lovely weekend and almost don’t want to go back to work tomorrow. Note the “Almost”

Andy should pitch in by giving the Thwaites antacids.

OK, here are all the “Andy Capp” tropes:
1. Flo can’t cook at all well, but keeps cooking
2. Andy actively avoids work of any kind
3. Except his pigeons
4. Andy takes money from his wife and the government
5. He uses this money to drink to excess
6. And to gamble
7. The drinking usually lands him in the canal, the “drunk tank”, or at the end of Flo’s rolling pin
8. He enjoys snooker/pool/billiards, darts, fishing, and football
9. Although he hasn’t yet realized that his age is affecting his football play.
10. Andy Capp will flirt with any pretty girl, even in front of his wife
11. Andy Capp will fight with anyone, even his wife
12. Andrew will ask others to pay for his drinks, but not vice-versa
13. Mr. Capp hates his mother-in-law
14. Capp routinely comes home from a night of drinking red-nosed and singing at the top of his lungs at 3 am.
15. Andy disapproves of men doing housework
16. Andy and Flo routinely walk out on each other and/or see a marriage counselor who has basically given up on them
17. Andrew Capp has never had anything good to say about marriage or being married

My neighbors had a wild and noisy party last night. Fortunately, it didn’t keep me awake.
